Oh, Snap! Aaron Rodgers Calls Mark Sanchez’s GQ Spread ‘Embarrassing’

Get it? Snap? Like how they’re both quarterbacks? Jeez, you people are hard to please.

On to the story: during a radio appearance by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on ESPN Milwaukee, the topic of New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez’s highly stylized photo spread in the September issue of GQ came up. Let’s just say Rodgers was not very impressed with his colleagues foray into fashion.

Via Pro Football Talk:

“Look at this,” Rodgers said. “That’s embarrassing. Page 94 of the GQ thing here. That’s terrible.”

Ooh! Quarterback Cat Fight! The photo Rodgers is referring to is the one you see directly above. And to be honest, I am inclined to agree with him. Nice white pants with black muscle shirt with white trim. I assume the fur-like coat is an homage to another Jets quarterback of yesteryear, Joe Namath, but that doesn’t necessarily make it right.

But in defense of Sanchez, there is this: he has to play up this kind of thing, considering he is a high profile player playing in high profile New York. Rodgers isn’t subjected to the standards Sanchez is held to living in Green Bay. And let’s be honest: if Rodgers donned that fur coat (or faux fur, whatever it is) and walked around Green Bay, some hunter might accidentally mistake him for wild game. And that wouldn’t be good.

Maybe Rodgers thought it was embarrassing because he thought Sanchez was wearing white after Labor Day?

It means a small stick of wood. They used to place women named Misty and anyone else they chose around a stake when they burned someone as kindling.

“Word here in Wisconsin?” Talk about jealousy. I live in GB and know him. Aaron is not gay, he lives next to a work colleague of mine. He has plenty of girls over. The ONE guy that was living with him is his brother that comes to visit. Get your story straight. Why should he settle for a gold digger, I think he is just looking for the next Gabrielle.

How do you know? I’m not saying anything about his sex life but just because a man have a lot of female traffic does not mean he is really into them. Some are still in the so called closet and others have an image to up hold. Waite a minute some like both sex…..but who cares guys this conversation took a wrong turn. I thought we were talking about Sanchez photo. I would say that Mr. Rogers is jealous….who cares about the photo anyway. The photo is for the ladies. ^_^

        • Zack-Attack

          September 8, 2011 at 9:17 am

Technically, for a spread in GQ, the picture is for the men. Gentlemen’s Quarterly is magazine focusing on fashion, modern day life and points of interest for men. I’m assuming that the above picture is meant to be showcasing some fashion points if interest for upcoming fall collections.

            September 8, 2011 at 9:59 am

You are right…he was advertizing for men’s wear. It really doesnt make any difference if its embarrassing or not …he gets paid for it. But Aaron Rogers is a well dressed young man…here is Green Bay..men dont usually walk around like that and maybe Sanchez doesnt either…

          September 8, 2011 at 9:59 am

Just because Brady and his Pats beat up your team year in and year out, no need to hate on him so much. It is actually a compliment because fans hate those they fear the most.

Rodgers is an ugly fuq. Lol.. Don’t really see him making the G.Q. Cover. Maybe Hunters weekly. Totally different market. Really don’t understand why he is embarrassed, it’s not him on the cover. Unless Rodgers got caught rubbing his thumb to it in the locker room. Then. I could see his reason for hating. Self loathing issues….lol

        • Steve

          September 8, 2011 at 10:36 am

Actually, last year they did a scientific analysis and Rodgers was named the best looking QB based on facial bone structure. Similar to the one they just did and published today that says the Buffalo Bills have the best looking team over all.

Any dude that looks like a model gets the “oh he is gay” logo stamped on him by fans. Dude gets all the pu$$* that he can handle and then some. He makes more money than most of us will see in our lifetime in a year or two and he doens’t care what you or anybody else thinks. What would you do if a magazine called and asked you to model….would you turn it down? Hell no………

jetfan, I agree with you and am not directing my post at you….LOL It’s directed toward these other fools that are bashing the dude for posing for one picture that will earn him more money than most people make in months. LOL

        September 8, 2011 at 12:22 am

U r right he makes way more than the regular person. But it’s easy to sign a contract, the hard part is making sure he still has the money after he retires. Just ask Tiki Barber It’s nice to be on top, but that fall is long & painful from the top.

Boy all these comments so far from such academia, and a well rounded “think-tank” of individuals who have slung the forever banished word in the football dictionary around as if it’s life time ban has been given CLEMENCY, and the actual PLACE OF origin of the word has either been forgotten by this group or they actually are all too young to know that there CANNOT be a discussion about GAY’S in the NFL (no fag league) without somehow, someway, mentioning one the greatest cities in the world SAN FRANCISCO. I live in a small town 2 hours north of S.F and I actually live about a block and half from Aaron’s grandfather, my uncle and myself have golfed with him (granpa) pre-Packers, and post SB MVP, and can tell you that Aaron is not nor has he ever been “gay” END OF STORY….PERIOD. All of his relatives and older friends, as i have told say he is a lot like his Grandpa, and if that is true the Packers and the NFL have a not just a diamond in the rough, he is pure GEMSTONE, and that sucks for me because i’m a 49er fan and Mike Nolan “Saw something” in Alex Smith, well we are all still looking for that somethn’ and so is that goofy ass lookn’ USC Heisman winn’ng CHEATING poor ass excuse of “BROADWAY WAY JOE” Mark Snatchez. Broadway may have been “one and done, but it sure was a whole lot of fun.” And believe it or not good Ol’ Alabama Joe was thought to have been taking the wrong exits on the old HERSHEY HIWAY, just because he did some nylon ads on TV, I think even Earl Campbell had some bad rumors of that sort, I feel sorry for the dumb bastard that. Anyway I find it refreshing to be reading about politicaly incorrect GAY BANTER and not even one mention of San Francisco, or the GAY AREA,…..That is until I had to go and open my big mouth…………………………….OOOOOOOPPS…..Go 9ers……We have to have an awesome 1-15 season…..It’s called the ” SUCK FOR LUCK” season. Harbaugh will get coach of the year for finding 15 of the most creative ways to lose, while keeping everybody convinced that he has the ghost of Bill Walsh tucked away in his secret lair..Well it all starts Thursday-Sunday, and the faithful such as myself look back and say “well the GENIUS started his NFL head coaching legacy with back to back 2-14 seasons” Please let history reapeat itself.

So Aaron Rodgers is embarrassed, huh? He should be. There is no way he would even dream of making the cover of GQ Magazine. Sanchez’ expose is a very tastful spread and he did a great job at it. Rodgers must be embarrassed, because he is not GQ material. He certainly can’t be criticizing Sanchez for his photo shoot, which was in good taste. Who cares what Rodgers thinks anyway? I certainly don’t.

Aaron Rodgers should keep his ugly piehole shut and, in the name of all that is holy, keep his ugly head down and just play football. I think Mark looks great, certainly better than Rodgers. Yep..you are right…so many football players in the past glamourized themselves like that photo…quaterbacks too…Aaron Rogers like the low profile..always did..unlike those in the past…so what wrong with that? And his looks are great…he doesnt need to be all dressed up or undressed to please people…

Rodgers I’m sure is concentrating on winning football games instead of doing junk like this. Sanchez won’t even be the NYJ starting quarterback after game three so who cares what he does. That picture is really terrible though.

the reason for my earlier post about rogers being jealous of sanchez
is because rogers critizised sanchez about the g.q. pictures and then
says he likes his private life away from football and wants to keep to
himself off the field….. well, guess who is doing t,v. commercials for the
biggest ambulance chasing lawyer in milwaukee?? arron rogers!!
call these guys if you want big settlements he more or less says in the
ads….i have no problem with these guys making money on the side,
just dont be a hypocrite about it. sanchez probably made a lot more money
from g.q, then rogers gets from the ambulance chaser whos ads run

We know GQ came out for men to have a magazine that they can identify with. However, this is recession and maybe GQ is trying to get more women to purchase the magazine and with that said we like to see sexy in men. I like Sanchez photo. The jeans look nice along with the muscle shirt, but I also like to see men in suits, sports gear etc. It’s clean and tasteful……go Sanchez do your thing.

    September 8, 2011 at 9:51 am

What difference does it make. Photos like this are up for scrutiny anyway. Some will like and some will not. Comments are made all the time or they wouldnt put this piece in here for us to say something. I personally dont care. I am a packer fan. I live in Wisconsin so men here dont usually walk around like that. Maybe somewhere where its warm all the time. I dont get the jacket though if its warm. But no doubt it for some advertizing on a clothing item. So much ado about nothing. If Rogers says it embarrassing to him…so what. All our Wisconsin boys dress in jeans and shirts. Aaron Rogers dresses in suit…he is a very well dressed quarterback..(unlike our last one). So settle down folks…we are all entitled to our opinions….He didnt say anything bad anyway.

Aaron Rodgers is a class act and an absolutley dominating Quarterback with a world championship on his hand if i do remember aaron rodgers was bangin mila kunis. unfortunatly i cant say the same for that overrated bust over there in new york i actually think he got those skin tight white jeans from that 17 year old girl he was foolin around with and if you look close enough you can see dirty sanchez’s dirty camel toe. mark dreams about arron rodgers and maybe being an 1/8 of the quarterback aaron is. but taking photo shoots in girls clothing probably is the way to get there mark. keep it up..GO PACK!

What ever happened to live and let live. If Rodgers wants to grow that ugly facial hair and Sanchez want’s to flaunt his feminine figure, let them. Not everybody can be the perfect person on and off the field. Look at Brady, knocking up women, Vick…He was into killing dogs. Not to mention the murderes(Ray Lewis), druggies, women beaters and so on.

      • Mary Jackson

        September 8, 2011 at 12:35 pm

I don’t go to bars/clubs- that’s just not my thing but, if he walked into the gym to work out…well, I would probably assume he was a player… but then THAT would probably be a mistake made on my part now wouldn’t it? We all make assumptions based on first appearances don’t we? He looks “alpha-male” to me with all the self-confidence, ego, and arrogance which often (it’s been my personal experience anyway) goes with THAT package. Yet, I find self confidence to be attractive no matter what a man’s wearing.

Yes, I am sure I would give him the time of day, even if he wore this on the way into the gym locker room…but I would keep him at a distance for a while…to see what he was REALLY made of. That’s just me though :) He reflects self-confidence…fur coat and alllll :)

Let’s not make it look like if you are a quarterback in NY you have to pose for douchey photos that make you seem…well…like a douche. I like Sanchez and I think he seems like a cool down to earth dude, but so did brady until he became Tom Brady INC..You see that’s when they begin to care more about their marketability than damn near anything else (Keyword being damn near, I’m not saying they don’t want to win, because they do, if for no other reason it helps (INSERT NAME) INC gain credibility. Rodgers on the other hand could have cashed in and did a stupid photo spread and tried to go into biz for himself and look as douchey as Sanchez in this spread or Brady looks on a regular. I will say that all the success Brady has had, insulates him from any negative feedback that would arise from stupid pic’s and/or looks.(Not saying either are bad looking men but hey a douche is a douche) Unfortunately sanchez does not get the same treatment and if this next season is a dud for him or the jets then he will have much bigger problems than taking stupid pics and A-RODG dissing him because there will be a whole lot more people taking shots at him and his team for a plethora of reasons, and trust me these pics will be at the top of that list for many. Oh and will grown men stop wearing “skinny” jeans (you can call them slim fit but those are skinny jeans, ladies and gents) first off those are girl pant’s that girls barely wear now days because they are sooooo 2009 (thats what my 13 year female cousin say’s…lol) seriously though stop it, it is not cool and next to the “fro-hawk” will be one of the biggest fashion faux paus when it is all said and done. (Right on up their with leisure suits, jeri-curls, and the mullet…trust me and take it easy)

I am from the south and will assure you that I am much better educated, possess much better manners and have a much better knowledge base than you on football. Keep your arrogant, ignorant mouth shut and people will like you a lot better.

hahahaha!!!! you possess much better football manners? that’s really funny…. what exactly are football manners? As for manners in general, and your so called higher education, what’s respectful about talking down to a female? If you were more educated you could make her feel bad about calling it the “dirty south” without calling her a moron. If that is the kind of language you use then I can’t assume your education is any higher than the third grade.

It is never a good idea to respond to a hateful comment with another hateful comment. It only leads downhill, as the comments clearly show. And as a woman and a football fan, I feel very hurt by the “dirty south” comment. Times have changed. We have come a long way from the days of George Wallace and Bull Connor. If it is wrong to label people based on their sex, their race, their religion or their appearance, it is also wrong to label people based on their region of the country.

He isn’t from the SOUTH. . . because here in the SOUTH . . . we all LOVE FOOTBALL – Friday Night Lights – SEC on Saturday and NFL on Sunday and Monday! It’s a Religion for us in the deep south! As far as Rodgers – I think it was poor sportsmanship to speak the way he did – if it’s not his style – that’s fine and dandy – but how is it embarassing for him or the NFL? As far as Sanchez’s photo – i odn’t care for the skinny jeans – it’s a bit too metro – we ladies like our manly football players to look manly – at least this lady does :) for instance – Jeremy Shockey’s cover shot for ESPN MAG – YUMMY!

        • Martin

          September 8, 2011 at 11:57 am

No, you need to “get real”, and informed. The SEC does NOT have the most natl championships in football. That honor belongs to the Ivy league schools, and secondly to the Big Ten conferance. So which are you…a liar, or just ignorant?? Ahhhh, you’re both!

          Recognized National Championships
          1.Ivy League-69 (Princeton 28, Yale 26, Harvard 7, Penn 7, Dartmouth 1)
          2-BIG10- 40 (Michigan-11, Minnesota-6, Ohio State-7, Illinois-4 ,Michigan State-4, Penn State-4, Iowa-1
          3 – SEC-30 (Alabama-12, Tennessee-4, LSU-4, Florida-3, Ga- 2, Arkansas-1, Auburn-2, Ole Miss-2 )
          4- BIG12- 19 (Oklahoma-7, Nebraska-5, Texas-4, Texas A&M-2, Colorado-1)
          5- PAC10- 15 (Southern Cal-8, Cal-4, Stanford-1, Washington-1, UCLA-1)
          6- ACC- 14 (Miami-5, Ga.Tech-4, Maryland-1, Fla St.-2, Clemson-1, Boston College-1)
          7- BIG EAST- 10 (Pittsburgh-9, Syracuse-1)

          • Tyrone Shoelaces

            September 8, 2011 at 12:49 pm

Martin – according to your data, there have been 197 national championships awarded in football. The first of which, according to your post, would have occurred in somewhere around 1815. Which is about 65 years before Walter Camp created what is considered to be “modern American football.”

I think those national championships were in sports other than football.

        • Mark Simmons

          September 8, 2011 at 3:39 pm

Yeah, you really cant count Princeton, but they won there first championship in 1869, there record was 1-1, it was also awarded retroactive, they won in 1870 also with a record of 1-0. As far as I can tell they were never consensus National champions

I had the chance to meet Rodgers at the ESPY’s. I am a Bear fan, but thought he seemed pretty cool as a person until I meet him. Egotistical toolbox. Full of himself. Hid behind Matthews all night and acted like he was a God. Enjoy your slump year d-head

    • Boovers

      September 8, 2011 at 12:54 pm

Slump year? Finley and Grant coming back after missing basically the entire season last year, and you’re predicting a slump? Rodgers managed to continue his success with play action despite the total absence of a running game. He’s going to absolutely embarrass defenses this year. And the best part, he gets to do it to the Bears…TWICE!

    • Packer fan

      September 8, 2011 at 1:01 pm

Ever think that Rodgers gets tired of every Tom, Dick (that would be you) and Harry running up to him expecting gracious and welcoming conversation. Rodgers most likely doesnt WANT to talk to you nor does he care about YOU….why should he? Secondly the guy is a GOD on the field and was the MVP of the Superbowl an accolade that only a handful of men have attained. Boo Hoo Rodgers snubbed you, I bet you had a Bears jersey on…I’m surprised Matthews didn’t sack your arse just for approaching the elite QB that Rodgers is. Go cry in your beer…by the way the Bears still suck!

The hard core guys may not like the idea of him modeling but
atleast give him props for being in GQ which is a very tasteful up scale magazine. Nothing but the best in men’s wear I say. For you guys who don’t have a clue about ‘bumping up’ a couple of notches from your t-shirts and work boots, I can’t help ya. All I know is when a man decides to show me what he’s working with (in clothes) every now and then, it turns some of us women on. :)

I can understand both points of you; Rodgers speaks strictly from a narrow view of what images are appropriate for a star athlete. But this isn’t some sports’ magazine, this is GQ! where a very metrosexual view of men’s fashion prevails, no one should be the least surprised, bet the stylist had a field day treating this guy like some kind of ken doll. Be that as it may, the guy pulls it off. My opinion, Sanchez got masculinity in spades, to project manliness while wearing white jeggins (beyond “skynni” dude!!), a silk tank top with match white piping and a frigging Shearling Coat in the summer, (mad gay!) and come through the other side of that mess still looking good and masculine, not easy feat! Kudos to you Sanchez!

There are plenty of women athletes that have done photo shoots as well. What’s good for the goose…. Wonder if Rodgers criticizes/complains about those sexy female athletes that pose for a fashion layout. I think not…..

When you got the looks, and women like to look too…… show it off baby.
    I’ll be waiting for MORE!!!

I cant believe a story this lame has recieved this much attention. Rogers was asked a question on a local ESPN station, answers with a 14 word response, and that is somehow turned into a story? Really.. who cares. I bet that both Aaron and Mark are laughing at how this supposed story has been hyped into news.

  69. Doodguy

    September 8, 2011 at 12:16 pm

You ladies are excited about “Dirty” Sanchez?
The guy who raped a woman in college and the school made it go away because he is a star? The guy who was banging a 17 year old in her mommy’s house?

The guy is a entitled scumbag who would have done time if he was an average joe.

      Los Angeles Times reported:

Los Angeles Police Department officers took the 19-year-old redshirt freshman into custody about 4 p.m., after a female USC student told police she had been sexually assaulted by Sanchez in the early morning. Sanchez, from Mission Viejo, was arrested at the Cardinal Gardens apartment complex at 3131 McClintock Ave.

Police would not say where the alleged assault occurred.

The security system at a nearby club Sanchez visited late Tuesday night shows him leaving at 12:59 a.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses to the arrest said the area just north of campus was swarming with police and campus safety officers as Sanchez and sophomore linebacker Brian Cushing were led away from Building E in the sprawling complex.

Cushing was released at the scene.

I dont know where I was when this story broke about Sanchez, but I never heard it. That is a story worthy of the news. Its to bad if it is true.

But some fluff story about Rogers answering a question about Sanchez photo shoot in GQ and it was on ESPN radio and MSN how Rogers is RIPPING Sanchez. It turned out to be a total non story.

        September 8, 2011 at 1:36 pm

Just because they “took” him…does NOT mean they “booked” him. Nothing kills faster than ignorance/lies/rumors/gossip…that being said, I suppose I better go do some research…from citeable resources…who ACTUALLY have some noteworthy info worth repeating :)

Hahahaha! I love Aaron Rodgers, he’s totally right. Sanchez looks like a tool and an idiot. Who gives a rip if he’s a great player; he looks like a clown in this picture! Aaron Rodgers can say whatever he wants! He’s a Super Bowl MVP, gets tons of ass and money and doesn’t care what the competition thinks. Quit giving him so much flack for saying what we all think.

  73. GML12

    September 8, 2011 at 12:48 pm

I think Sanchez is doing nothing wrong by posing. If female athletes can take sexy photos then why not male athletes? Personally as a female, I am all for Sanchez modeling. We have cheer-leading calendars, now we should have a little something for the female football fans.

    • Mary Jackson

      September 8, 2011 at 1:55 pm

      Agreed :)
The only thing that is REALLY embarrassing about this photo…is that our own society STILL supports such double standards; although I would not exactly compare Sanchez to the cheerleaders as I would NOT want to see or imagine him modeling during half-time (the implied correlation/connection in your post is unintentional-I’m sure), but as far as outside of the game–that’s a different story. Any calendar would be fine. Fair is fair :)

      • GML12

        September 8, 2011 at 2:04 pm

When he isn’t doing his job as QB he can do modeling. I said nothing about modeling during games. And yes fair is fair.

    • Ciji

      September 8, 2011 at 3:39 pm

GML – this is NOT what most women would classify as SEXY – maybe a gay man would. . . but i would like to think most women would not define this as “SEXY” . . . I mean look at how tight those pants are. . . his brotherhood is in a serious bind!!

I guess Sanchez has a thing for 17 yr old girls… first the rape charge when he was in college and then last year’s flack over buying drinks for a 10th grader. I don’t get it… he probably can get any woman he sets his cap for… but he keeps going for the jail bait.

  75. raynebow

    September 8, 2011 at 12:57 pm

It’s real nice we all have our opinions, but do you really think Sanchez gives a rats azz about what we think. He’s gonna cash his checks and keep it moving. I just hope he plays ball better than he models, heeheee. JK, I don’t care what he does, he’s not my QB!!!!

  76. skiz915

    September 8, 2011 at 1:10 pm

Regardless of how questionable his attire is, the bottom line is cash. What would it cost in endorsements for you to dress like that?

  77. dale

    September 8, 2011 at 1:14 pm

what a potentially homophobic sounding comment from the GB QB… why even LOOK at the inside of GQ if you’re so offended by guys in fashion wear? I don’t like guys in fashion wear (and I’m GAY!) so I don’t look at GQ! So, what is Aaron’s excuse then? WHY look at Mark in the GQ? Just to be hateful, or because he desires to see men in fancy clothes? I don’t get it? You can’t say it’s “embarrassing” and then still claim you look at GQ for the clothes they show throughout it, because someone who does that wouldn’t call it embarrassing. It really makes Aaron appear really low class. And, frankly, despite being a huge packer fan since Favre came in 93, I really cringed when Aaron held up that wrestling belt! That “sport” screams closet case! My friend’s husband said that she swears he’s a closet case because he stares at the men so deeply while she’s watching him from the kitchen, but he reads his comics while the women are in the ring! LOL

    • TGC

      September 8, 2011 at 1:42 pm

He was asked about it by some radio host.. its not like Rogers made a point to bring it up on his own. Besides Rogers comment was so brief, I dont understand how anyone can extract as much as you did from 14 words. I respect your opinion, but it seems like alot of people are projecting their feelings into it, and not just taking it for what it is.
A brief coment made on a local radio show.

First and foremost I’m certain Rodgers was thinking about how this photo represents the NFL! It’s disgraceful and embarrassing that these hardened men play a very physical game only to laughed at by the general public when something like this happens.

I would be willing to bet from the commish on down to the equipment guys would either say or think something worse that wasnt as PC as what Rodgers said.

Even Sanchez himself has said he’s taking a lot of flak from his teammates…ah you think?

I say good for Mark..Aaron is just jealous because GQ didn’t ask him..besides I personally would rather see him in a GQ ad than to be like some of these other player like Clay Matthews, and Troy Polamalu with their shampoo commericals and there is goofy looking Blaine Gabbert who was afraid if he didn’t go in the first round of the draft he wouldn’t get a chance at a shampoo spot. Then cried to management that he was afraid of the rookie initiation so Jack Del Rio bans ‘em…

    September 8, 2011 at 5:46 pm

I don’t know why the conversation turned away from the topic at hand, but I would like to chime in at this time. When you are a celebrity you have to be marketable. Sanchez being both a celeb and a football player has to be able to car his market on both on and off the field. I see nothing wrong with marketing himself and his team at the same time. We would not expect this from Aaron Rogers and because this is not the market he is in, but best beleive if he was a QB in the big apple we would see him not Sanchez in this same position.

  99. Chuck Brooks

I am Southern, and a Gentleman…and Mr. Sanchez has a right to pose and prim however he choose’s…Mr. Rodgers has a right to ”comment”, but as most ”jocks” tend to do, they go negative. 104. Ted Brown

    September 9, 2011 at 1:24 am

Sanchez has not really lit it up like Rodgers has..Aaron is more consistent and seasoned NFL Q.B….Green Bay has more tradition and would put Sanchez in a vise( Mathews, Hawk,Etc.) if they would meet..Mark is getting better but his upside is simply more shallow for his career longevity compared to Aaron a potential Super star All pro QB..reminds me of Brady in many ways..his last 3 years were outstanding, got better each year..

I’d be more embarrassed by Ty-ran-a-soar-ass Rex and his comment for Cowboy fans to leave their Cowboy attire at home. What a douche. Are Jet fans that obnoxious that you can’t even root for your favorite team? They paid for their ticket and should be able to enjoy the game. Perhaps Rex know that his fans suck and wanted to protect them. For Sanchez, he sucks and is overrated. Pretty boy will come out of the closet soon!!

Well, Mug, Rex is right. Meadowlands stadium should be filled with Jet jerseys, not some phony SB pretenders that who probably won’t make the playoffs. Cowgirl fans have known not to wear their jerseys in Philly for years. I say make it that way in all of the stadiums. Rex knows how to motivate his guys and says things for a reason. In NY you take advantage of the media, which is exactly what Sanchez did. If you’re a star in NY, you take advantage of it. He did and got paid. So what?
