So, Shaq Can Do This Sort Of Crap With His Fiancee But Can’t Suit Up For The Celtics?

Yeah, makes sense to me. Courtesy of The Basketball Jones comes this photo of Boston Celtics center Shaquille O’Neal balancing his fiancee Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander on his legs, one of which that just so happens to feature his right calf, the source of O’Neal’s inability to get back on the court for the suddenly-reeling Celtics, who after last night’s loss, are down two games to none in their series with the Miami Heat. I don’t know, maybe the Celtics could have used him last night. Just a hunch.

In the interest of full disclosure, the above image – as well as the ones below, are reportedly from some time in what I ascertain from this article as mid-to-late April when Shaq and Hoopz showed off their unorthodox workout techniques for a Boston television crew. I’m not good with dates, but since Shaq has been essentially out of the lineup since, oh, forever, I find it quite interesting that he would test his badly strained calf by pulling stunts like this. Although, as the Talented Mr. Kirby points out over at TBJ, there are slight differences between playing basketball and balancing a smaller woman on your legs, but still.

I think we should forget about Shaq playing for Celtics again. Remember he came back and only played six minutes. Now if he comes back it’s another six minutes. We have a good team only if they decide to play. And I am talking about Rondo who is the key to the success of this team. Our big four fall in the top five of the two teams combined, giving credit to LaBron whom we should plan to stop somehow.
