Holy crap, that’s…certainly something.
By now, being such an astute follower of professional athlete Twitter accounts, you have likely heard about the ongoing Twitter war between Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe and New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper regarding Sharper’s threats of “X marks the spot” on Favre’s surgically-repaired ankle as part of the buildup to the rematch of the NFC Championship game between the Vikings and Saints when the teams take the field for the kickoff to the 2010 NFL season in September (more background here).
Well, as you can plainly see above, Shiancoe, while engaging in some training exercises with some members of the Minnesota National Guard, added a little personal artwork to an Osama Bin Laden target by identifying the terrorist as Darren Sharper and was kind enough to link to the photo via the following tweet:
“X- marks the spot”.. Loved the idea, ehhh so I went for it.
Afterward, Shiancoe provided his followers the privilege of admiring his handiwork with a weapon by uploading a photo of a bullet-ridden Darren “Osama Bin” Sharper (below) and continued the smack talk with this tweet:
The aftermath.. Can’t even hold a game check with hands like that.. See you thurs night @sharper42
Boy, that escalated quickly… I mean, that really got out of hand fast. With months to go before the game, there is no telling where this little Twitter war could be headed. And here we thought the Tupac Shakur-Biggie Smalls feud got out of hand.
